She was a dancer, a feminist, an actor, and a survivor; she was mostly a singer. She was crowned the Queen of Rock and Roll but that’s limiting. Her voice went everywhere, transcending boundaries and generations. The only other woman in the music world who has left this kind of void is Ella Fitzgerald. Millions of people will be listening to Tina tonight. She’ll feel it.
